Well, I have to say that the fishing over the last week has been outstanding. The numbers of fish caught have not been all that high, but I have managed to stay on some solid fish. All of these fish were caught out of kayaks in the Galveston Bay complex this past week using artificials. Most fish were caught on suspending twitch baits and paddle tail soft plastics fishing 2-7 feet of water. I have been concentrating on mud/shell transitions looking for any bait activity I can find.
