Crague sent me this email yesterday. These pictures are from Rainy Lake which is where my dad and I take my mother and my wife to fish in the Summer. It is on the Minnesota/Canada border.

Northern Pike

This is the new record in Canada. He caught it on Rainy Lake.

Check this thing out.. The last picture is unbelievable!

This guy (in the photos below), was fishing and caught a 36" Pike - as he was reeling it in, a 56 " Pike tried to eat it!!!!! He brought them both in on the same net.

Awesome catch on a Lake in Canada - 55 lbs- 56 inches.

That pic has been around the net for a while. Awsome shot! Amaizing what those big fish will eat. Big pike and Muskie, the ducks don't stand a chance. LOL

How many lbs. of meat does a Pike that size eat in a day??? I don't think I want to go swimmin' in that lake anytime soon!!!

Well I think I read somewhere that pike will eat something up to 2/3 their length, so unless you're shorter than 37 inches you ought to be ok... but the little ones... naw,
