Already time for that second tournament of the season. This lake will be a new one to our schedule and looks good already. Hoping someone will break the record at this tournament. There will be a meeting and registration that morning and the evening before as well. Registrations,meetings and the weigh-in will be held at Bass Pro Shops @ Grapevine. You will be allowed to launch at any ramp that will most safely fit your needs. The fishing hours of this tournament will be 7a-2p and have till 3:15p to get back to Bass Pro for the weigh-in.......more details of the gathering and registration will come after the first of the year Hope to see ya'll again.. http://www.northtexastrophycats.com

Brent what about releasing the fish I guess we will have a tank or something for them? I guess this will be part of the more details after the new year......(If I would just pay attention to what I read)....Count Nathan and me in, got the boat fixed and ready to go....Merry Christmas!

terry i have 2 holding tanks that will be used to transport the fish back for live release.........glad you got the boat fixed..

Can we register @ Bass Pro the night before? If we do register the night before - will we still be required to meet also on that Sat. Morning prior to the tournament? Can we launch prior to 7am as long as we don't start fishing until 7am?

Terry the guys decided to stay at a park at the lake......I can look into a room for you if needed. But being so close the airport there is tons of places and budget and ESPN to choose from. I did a search on hotel.com for under $60 and found 2 pages.PM if you need a suggestion of the area or any questions you may have

it was the vineyards i believe...they sleep six for each room they got....so a few teams could hook up and split the cost. if you ask real nice they will waive the 2 night minimum. bcdave you gonna venture away and bring trophycat or are you waiting for that classic on the other mudhole?

Weather will determine if we fish.

Anchoring on humps is productive, but working the anchors by yourself all day is a back buster.

I'm in weather permiting, and pending approval from the WAR DEPT. This will be my first kitty tourney and I'm lookin forward to it . I got some schooling from Mickey P. so I'm a shoe in for first place . Seriously I did learn alot from our trip Christmas Eve and was very pleasantly suprised at the amount of information he was kind enough to share with us.
If we could just steal his son Daniel away from him we would be a shoe in .

i'm sure you could get his son snce he'll be fishing with steve anyhow. we snuck out there today and jered caught a decent cat so we ran him up to bps to be certified. i'm sure it will be busted again on the tourney though
