which one is better? I've always gone to the one in Garland, but I'm going to the other one today. Is it any different?

If your going to drive that far, you might want to slip a little further down the road and hit Cabelas' as well.

But, BPS is better imo.

save a little money at Bass Pro in Grapevine, and head another 15 minutes down the road when you are done in Grapevine- to Cabelas. Both are neat stores. The Garland store in nice, just not as big as Grapevine Bass Pro. I like Grapevine 3x better.

GV is bigger. And you don't have to worry about the cold winds coming off the lake. They were pretty brutal over the last week or so

If you don't go to Cabelas then take 121 over to I-35 and hit Sportsmans Warehouse in Lewisville. I'm always surprised what I can find in there.

Definatly Grapevine even though Garland is much closer. And like previously stated you can also go to Cabelas.

He is correct about this. Garland's selection is not as big.. on everything.. it has your basics... but just not as big of variety as the store in Grapevine..

Plus, that sportsman warehouse tip was a good one.. sometimes they have just what you are looking for.. BPS does not carry everything... hit them all if you are up here to go to them...

Well... I ended up goin' to both of 'em. First went to Garland to pick up some other things and made a stop at BPS. then hit 635 and went to Grapevine cause the wife needed to go to Grapevine mills mall.

Garland was nice... but Grapevine was alot better. thanks for the help
