You can handle it, but I understand about the scared feelings. My daughters are 14 and 16 and we finally realized this year that keeping Christmas simple is the best. You don't have to overwelm them with gifts for them to know you love them.

Brian, yea she did. But honestly she was going to get a car eventually anyway. Timing just happened and Christmas worked out. I just always told my wife we didn't need to do so much for X-Mas and outside of the car we really had a small X-mas. Okay, I know, a car but honestly after 16 years we both realize it really can be simpler.

Congrats. Our second is due in March. I was scared to death when I found out my wife was pregnant. It is the happiest day of my life when she was born though. She will be 3 in May and I have been having the time of my life with her.

This book is very helpful to new parents. It tells you what to expect each month. My wife buys this book for all of her friends that are pregnant.

I'd stop after this one... The work to fun ratio goes down exponentially when you go from one to two...

My daughter is six and a real pleasure. She likes to fish, hike, camp.. My son is two and all he likes to do is hurt people, throw stuff and generally 'jerk the emergency brake' on just about everything... I'm sure he'll get better, but he is the epitome of 'terrible two'...

If your wife is like mine, right about the time "grows" out of the baby stage, she will miss it and want another

Enjoy...it don't last long ;\)

You think that is cutting into your fishing budget, wait till you start buying diapers, bottles, formula, baby clothes, and all the other stuff that goes with it.

Congrats however, they are all worth it.

Congratulations. I see your wife is like mine was and dropped a c-note on multilpe tests, just to be sure. ;\) David book suggestion is a good one for mom. I'd suggest this one for yourself. Have fun and don't worry too much.
