I hear you ChrisSA, I fished for 7hrs. today. It's been awhile since I've gotten skunked, guess that's why we call it FISHING. Looks like I'm going to have to hook up with Cliff soon. Joe Barrera

I'm telling ya! Cliff is a class act and it's the way to go if you want to know how to attack the lake. PLUG, PLUG, PLUG!! I think he has some special winter rates going on right now, but don't quote me. Even paying full price is well worth it. Check out my myspace page in my profile and take a look at the toads I have pulled out. Hit me up privately, if you want to hear a first hand account of my experiences with Cliff. Steven

Buck, depth varies but I try to stay shallow most of the year if I can ( about 6 ft or less). Slip bobberin' is pretty easy to pick up on and the beauty of it is you can fish any depth desired by simply sliding the knot to the desired depth you want to fish, I tend to like it suspended off the bottom. MIke, I saw you out at Braunig Saturday and yelled at ya at the cleaning station as we were pulling in. We were having a rough day at calaveras and I made the move to Braunig in hopes of putting clients on some fish. Saturday 12/29 Fished with The Wells of SA, Tx today. Rough day, beautiful weather, rough fishing. Still had a blast with the boys ;watching them fish. Fished both Lakes today for about 7 hrs total with 8 fish for our efforts. We fsihed hard all day deep and shallow but them fish had lock jaw. The boys are planning to come back out soon to get another shot at Mr. Whiskers'. Rough day but the smiles at the end made it defifentely worthwhile. Calaveras 12/31 Fished with Family from WI from 2-430. Fishin' pretty darn good and the bite was steady. Ended with 50 fish for our New Year's fish Fry. Good fishin' and good eatin! Nathan caught most of them and pulled some good fish outta some new "mudholes" Have some openings between now the 10th for those interested. Thanks Cliff

Jan 4,5,6th Calaveras & Braunig Friday fished with Chuck Dewey at Calaveras ...fishing was steady then got hot as the day went on. Ending up catchign 25 fish limit fishing shallow with Danny Kings. Had alot of fun as always Chuck! Saturday Braunig Fished with Mr. John Levi of SA ,Tx. Started around 1000am with the heavy fog and went from there. Fishing was slow. Only a handful of places we had bites after fishing most of the morning. Went back to those areas and decided to take the occasional bite over nada. Ended up with 15 good sized channels by 330 before calling it a day. Had a great listening to Mr. Levi's expierences in SE Asia during the 60's. Pretty darn good day but had to work hard for our fish! Calaveras Sunday Fished with Albert Smith, Katie and Del of Floresville,Tx. Fishing was steady in the morning then the wind got really outta control up to 25-30mph. Ended up "calling it" with a few fish in the box to return next week and give it a try again. Just too rough out there, but it didn't hurt their spirits and we got a little more adventure than we bargained for. Hopefully, this week will cooperate. Ran into StikSHooter and SOuthern boy on different days. Was good to see yall out and thanks as always! Cliff
