man can you guys suggest anywhere to catch reds flounder or specs off of the shore or wade fishing right now from sabine lake too galveston bay...bout to go down that way for christmas to beaumont....i am from dallas and i am only get to go down there a few times a year....any help will be greatly appreciated.....and all opinions welcome

Get a map and go to east Galv bay / anahuac refuge area. Or see this link >>> http://www.fws.gov/southwest/refuges/texas/anahuac/anahuac%20vicinity%202006.pdf
Drive in the park and keep going down the gravel road a ways until you see the bay on your right. I have caught 'em wade fishing there. Very isolated, but you will see other wade fisherman and a few yaks too. Good area when wind is out of the north. If you decide on a guide try Dickie Colburn for Sabine Lake at sabineconnection.com
In any case try some soft plastics, top waters, 'suspending-type' baits like corkys, Mirrolure Catch V - all should produce.

man i really appreciate that.... i will deffinently go try that out sounds good....if i am not mistaken cant you catch the decent flounder right now and i thought i heard something about bull reds on the surf? ? ? ?

The black and red drum were biting pretty good in Chocolate and Hall's Bayou last weekend for me and a buddy. We fished close to the bottom with shrimp.

My buddy caught a couple of specs on red Norton lures as well.
