Anybody ever fish this little lake this time of year?
What works and what parts of the lake do you fish?

Work the Dam over with a trap or crank bait after it warms up....

I mean after it warms up during a cold day....like now. The rocks hold heat and will draw those fish up shallower during the day. ;\)

Just about any steep drop will hold fish. Try rigging the old channel also. You may be surprised what you find.

Just south of Waxahachie, it's a great little lake with hydrilla and pads during the warmer months. It has lots of structure like humps, points, islands, and plenty of docks!

When the water starts warming up and the fish start pulling up on the points and the backs of the pockets you can wear them out on senkos and spinnerbaits. The lake can be awesome in the spring and I've had several days were my best five would go 15-20lbs. Once it gets good and hot it can be very tough. In the warmer months I catch most of my fish along the dam,the island, and the grass that grows around the lower boat ramp.

They still hold the T's. During the winter months they are on the 2nd (I think) Saturdays, run all day, and are $40 to enter.

My wife and I were there Saturday, we sat on the 2nd or 3rd row on the right side...

Right side facing the stage or right side from the stage?

Me and a friend sat on the left side (from the stage) about 4 rows back, first 2 chairs from the walk-way.

No we're talking about the stage at Fun-n-Sun.

If it warms up today like it did yesterday.... I may have to go do some fishin' by the dam... perfect wheather.
