i will be spending 3mos in port-A ant suggestions on where to fly fish the salt and for what would be very welcome.

What's cold water catchable, fellows? Black drum are the main winter species I know, but it might be like trying muskie on the fly: lots of casts for few strikes/fish.

2yrs ago i fished down in port-a and cought a few reds-sea trout and a few things i didn't what they were . but am wondering if flounder are around or other species that i haven't seen also would like to know what kind of fly sheephead would hit.

Go out with Dean Thomas, of Slowride Guide Service. He's on the main drag in Aransas Pass. Kayak and Fly Fish to tailing Reds, etc. A right nice guy and great guide. Money well spent. There is also a good Map of the Rockport/Aransas area showing the yaking trails and what's generally good fishing...
