If any of you guys pass through Somerville, be sure to stop off at Buck's Grocery for their $2 awesome cheeseburger.

It's on 36 about halfway through town, on the left if you're coming from the direction of Lyons.

I am going to add a trip to the Buffalo Bar and Grill on Park Road 57...they have some of the best burgers in Texas.

Since I had 3 in 3 days this weekend I decided to snap a photo:

Call 10 minutes out and it'll be ready when you get there:
979-596-3033
I hear they have big and meaty deli sandwiches but I'm still hooked on the burgers.

They also have 20 lb bags of ice for $0.99.

Going north on 36, will it be past FM1948? If so, how far down?

Yes. At 1948 is the Shell station with the yellow blinking light. You'll continue on into town and it'll be on the right approximately halfway through town. I'm not sure how many blocks that is, maybe 5 or so? If you don't hit any red lights it takes less than a minute to go from one end of Somerville to the other. My only other landmark in Somerville is B&B Grocery (which is where I turn off to get to Welch Park) so if you pass that on the left, you've gone too far. If you call the phone # they'll probably be able to give you more exact directions.

Just going into town there is also a steak house on the left, looks like a two story house with a parking lot. I had an awesome double meat cheeseburger there several years ago, but it wasn't $2!

Looks great, I will have to stop next time I am out there. I love little restuarants in small towns. My buddies and I took up going to a place called Momma's Kitchen there in Somerville every morning after duck hunting. Some good cheap breakfast.
