Last Winter, Adam and I offered a $75 per person Half Day Trip for Whites & Hybrids. We're going to try and keep the boats on the water again this late December-February, and offer the same. The $75 offer is applicable if you can get a foursome together for a trip. Sorry, but we need a minimum of four on the boat to make a buck. We fish on Lake Richland Chambers which is about an hour and a half South of Dallas. All else is the same as a Trip in the Spring...Tackle Provided, Fish Cleaned/Bag and the normal Trip lasting around 4 1/2 to 5 hours, and then we need around an hour to clean fish. We offer AM trips starting around 7AM and PM Trips starting around 12:30PM. We fish everyday except Sunday. We have quite a few Weekdays open the remainder of this month, and have a Boat open this Saturday, 15th.

We specialize in Family Fishing, but I will tell you that this time of the year the bite is often difficult for Kids to detect. We'll catch fish, but the cooler the water temp the more we work for them. 95% of our fish will come on Slabs bumped along the bottom. However, on some days, it's just like the early Fall and Catchin' is EASY!

hey there... I'm going to shoot this to a couple of buds and see what we can't get going!!

Good trips resulting in a box of fish on Tuesday & Thursday of this week. Too WINDY today so had to reschedule.

Next week looks like the Weatherman has some nice days in store with a return of a South Wind and some nice temps. Give us a call as we have one boat open everyday except Saturday.

Openings next week after Christmas. Recommend an Afternoon Trip as the slight warm up in temperatures usually results in a better bite (and much warmer Fishermen). Have a boat open any Weekday but only have a Morning opening on Saturday.

Weather looks pretty good except for a small chance of rain on Wednesday.

Bite is very light and we're almost "Dead Sticking" on some days. While we cater to Kids, this is a time that is sometimes difficult for them to catch fish. Just want you to know before booking a "Family Trip" that we'll catch fish, but having to work for them!

Thursday (12/27) Started today's trip around Noon and had limited by 2:30PM, and then caught/released for another hour. Two folks from Houston joined me for the best Afternoon I've had in quite a while. Started slow with a few fish off the Windsock and the Old 287 Roadbed, and then moved to a "Honey Hole" up the Creek. Magnum Whites were stacked in this location and we left them biting. All fish on Chartruse and Silver Minnow Slabs ( http://www.rsrlures.com ) in 25' water. Water temp was 52 degrees. Fish will normally be on this location the remainder of the Winter. The strong Winds and the mid-week COLD weather slowed the fishing to a halt this week. But the 75 degree temps should have them turned on again by next week. I've got one boat open on Wednesday (9th) and then we're at the Fishing & Hunting Show in Arlington the remainder of the week. We've got a boat available on Saturday 19th and 26th for those who can only fish on a Weekend. If you do reserve a date and the weather is just too "unfishable", you're under no obligation. We call it off when the Winds or Cold just don't allow a FUN Trip!

I have not fished it but a little bird told me that he was on the lake this week and about 500 birds were going crazy over schooling fish...I was hunting at the time and I told him to catch me a few. he said he had a boat full of brush and was looking for a place to build a crappie home!
Must get out there and see if he was lying !!!
