He will be there if he isn't just absolutely dead tired. We have had company and he had maybe three hours sleep yesterday and about five today before going in for a ten hour shift. We will see.

I couldn't stand it anymore and skipped out of work early to go fishing. Didn't get a line in the water until about 5:50pm, and caught 4 2-3 pounders on a rattletrap until the water shut off (at 7:00). Threw the pencil popper for a little bit, but no takers so I just used the rattletrap the rest of the time. A guy there told me they were on fire from 5:00 to 5:30 and I had just missed it. I didn't see anyone else catching them, but then again, I could barely see 5 feet in front of me it was so dark. All in all, not too bad; I'll probably try again Sunday morning and maybe get into a decent sized one.

The generator report doesn't show that they will running water. Are you fishing for catfish?

Plenty of people have caught Stripers when the weren't generating or releasing water...

Just check the Fly Fishing section, lol.

It's probably not as reliable a bite as when they are generating heavily, but plenty of people only have a limited window to make the trip, so they have to fish it when they can.

I'd prefer they run some water when I get to go up there, but if not, I'll be bringing plenty of baits for plenty of species hehe.

I read the thread, seems most fish are caught when the water is running. Fishing is slow when off.
