Yes, Team Sweeet repeated by winning 2007 Match Play. They have set forth a dynasty that may never be duplicated. All BS aside, these guys deserve all the accolades.
We had almost 100 anglers on 8 teams competing to get to the championship. In the end, 19 men and women competed today. It was a good time as weigh in and hopefully we got a few good pictures to share for everyone. there will be alot of people bowing out for next year making room for the next generation of match play. Hopefully you guys will keep it going and make it bigger and better each year.
Thanks to everyone who participated. Its not as easy as it sounds getting four guys together to fish once a month for 4 hours. But you all managed to work it out. Congrats to yourselfs and your teams.
Congratulations to Team Elite for making it to the end and to Team Sweeet for proving once again why they are the Champions.

Nice pix, looks like a great time. Sorry I missed it. Petro not needing me in the boat is normal. I'm usually only the net man anyway. Congrats to my boys and much respect to Team elite. I met some great folks in matchplay and you guys were no exception.

All hail the KINGS, and Queen of the TFF Matchplay!!
Well earned through the course of the year and at the Championship. Team Sweeeet led the points from beginning to the end and won the Championship by a solid commanding amount.
Team Elite played the game as well as anybody could've and certainly deserved thier berth in the Championship. All in all I offer a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to all of the Championship competitors, and especially to the champs!!

Chad Kellner, my thanks to you! Without you stepping up to the plate this thing could've crumbled early in the year! In spite of a heart attack and a busy life, you stayed with it and even ran the Championship! You are one of a kind and I'm very proud to call you my friend!

And to all that helped pull this off, great JOB!!!

Bob, Thank you for all you did for TFF Matchplay. You are the Father of TFF MatchPlay......

I just hope you guys keep this thing alive again next year. It certainly has it's pros and cons, but the best thing that I can see is that there are lots on good freinds as a result of Matchplay. That's a good thing!

what a ride. man all i can say is thanks to everyone for allowing all of this to happen. ive had a really good 2 years of talkin smack to all of yall. this thing was cool. met a ton of good friends, learned some new lakes, doesnt get any better than that. good times... gonna miss it next year. if any of yall head down south to fish be sure and look me up, i'll have a guest room anytime.

Well I’d rather of seen Red Ranger in the SKYDYE but it just wasn’t our day. Team Sweet was awesome and deserved the win. It was just great hanging around with everyone afterwards even if I was eating crow. To me, this is about meeting everyone that you converse with on the forum it has increased my circle 100 fold. Getting to meet, hanging @ Bone Daddy’s, fish, BS and the like is what it’s all about.

We did have the biggest fish ~ Billy ~ 10# wasn’t it?
And the biggest stringer ~ Matt and Brian ~ 20# wasn’t it?

We couldn’t get that average sack going today and they did.

Team Sweetpete ruled the day and played the game well ~ Congratulations ~
