Folks, I would like to ask you to keep a friend of mine, and his family in your prayers.
Brian Loggins, a guide here on Fork had some back pains last week. He went into the hospital, and they found 2 spots of Type 4 cancer on his spine, and lung. 1 is about 4 centimeters, and the other spot is about 2 centimeters. The cancer is located in spots that make them inoperable. He is married and has a teenage daughter. Please remember them in your prayers

Also wanted to let you know, they have no medical ins. and we have several donation jars at area businesses, if you can help out.
We also have a football pot at the Minnow Bucket for the Cowboys game on Thank. Day. The squares are $20 and the final score winner will win a 1993 Pontiac Grand Am, it has just been painted, and is driven daily by Brian's daughter.
Guide Rick Loomis is also going to try and have a benefit tournament here to help Brian's rising medical bills. I will keep y'all posted on this. And any help will be definitely appreciated.

Prayers go out to everyone when I get on my knees with my daughter every night before she goes to bed.I will be especially thinking of your friend and his family as my dads baby brother is fighting a losing battle to colon cancer.I have lost two uncles already to cancer,so this hits close to home for me.God bless you all.

I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart, and know Brians family would like to be able to thank you all also. We appreciate the sincere concern, thoughts, donations, and prayers from all.

The news on Brian is not good, but there is a lot of power in our prayers. I have faith in my lord, that he will take care of Brian and give his family the strength to deal with this.

I don't have any further details on the Tournament yet, still being worked out.

I also wanted to let you know that Dave Settle, builder and designer of Moby "Custom Angle" Rods will be raffling off one maybe more of his rods for this cause. Details of that are still in the works also.

I will keep y'all updated on the Tournament and Rod raffle as more details unfold. As well as keep y'all informed on Brian's status.

Tell Brian and his family to never give up. Our son was diagnosed with bone marrow cancer and a life expectancy of 2 years. That was 6 1/2 years ago and he is still in remission and going strong. Miracles do happen!!!!!
