exactly... back when I was a photographer, I had images scarffed up off the web, ended up asking folks to remove from their sites - but could have sued. Going rate 7500 for each. So please no stealing.

how in the world are you going to tell me saving an image is illegal? as a matter of fact, every image from every website ive visited is saved in the temp folder on my harddrive. Guess we'll all be sued!!!!!

You dont want people to use your images, how about learning to not allow the save feature or "right click" for that matter.

bring on your lawyers, this should be interesting!

It is illegal--it's called copyright law. All you have to do is look it up. You're right about disabling the right-click--they should do that. You guys are also right if you think no one will come to your house to check your computer. We have at least one photo artist in the TFF, though (Blue Moon), who has specifically addressed this. It's taking money from his pocket to simply download an image he is selling.

Intent to defraud-sure thats what we all stay up all night dreaming of! Of course thats the world in which we all live today. Somebody suing someone else. Petty bunch of whiners. This was NEVER intented to beat someone out of there livelyhood or impose on there income or let-a-lone STEAL! Right click? DUH! If its such a precious comodity PROTECT IT. Oh yea! I can just see it now. Everone on this forum is going to copy all the pics, set up a stand on the corner and sell bootleg pictures of a freekin bass.GROW up,get a real life and concern yourself with some of lifes REAL issues.

I imagine if your income depended upon selling those pics, you'd consider it a "REAL issue." I don't read any whining--just sharing information. If the law bothers you, run for office.

Jimmie - relax. btw - the right click disable works on a PC, but not a Mac.

Fishbrain exactly.

What has happened in my case was that someone downloaded an image, and represented it as their own.

if your livelihood is at stake, you better do a better job of protecting your work.

Ive worked on the internet for the better part of 10 years, dont tell me your going to sue me or anyone else for saving an image. like ive already said, every image from every website you visit is automatically stored on your computer as it is.

if I save your image and try to sale it, then you've got an argument. If im saving your image because I want to use it as a desktop background, you've got no legs to stand on.

Those are some great pictures and why I make my brushpiles similar. Wood screws and aluminium ceiling wire.

Big bass like that kind of cover far better than the Christmas tree type brushpiles.
