Quick question. When putting out brush piles, is it against the law if you have your own timber? Did some clearing out on my land and figured why let it go to waste. I know you not suppose to cut trees around the lake, so I dont see the problem.

The way I see it you are just helping the fish with cover.

Go ahead a drop them piles and if you are still worried about it then do it after dark so nobody sees you.

I'm not sure but I think some lakes have different regulations. I would first check with the local authorities to make sure it's legal there before you sink them. Good luck!

You'd have to know the whole story behind that.

Is is normal to have one rise up about 15 feet off the bottom? I sank some trees in my favorite lake the other day and didn't realize how much timber I dumped in there. I drove the boat over it and my eyes popped out of my head when I looked at my X-67.
