went out yesturday to a local pond to Bass fish.It was me, my hubby, another local angler(don't know who he is) and a friend fishing the pond. The local angler caught 2 bass and thats it, my hubby caught non and our friend caught non, and i caught 4, woooweee I was rubbing it all in their faces, and what was sad was that they were all consentrating on their fishing and I was just relaxing talking to my baby, that by the way all he did was just laughed at me, people were walking by looking at me like I lost my minde because you know how weird it looks when person is baby talking in public, but thought twice when they saw me bringing in the fish. Dindn't keep any, I'm more of a CPR (catch, picture, release) type of gal.I love these fishing trips!

Good job MRS FISHIST. I love out fishing the guys. The Belton Bunch had a hybrid contest that started back in the winter and finished this summer, and the top 3 places were us girls. We had about 60 people fishing in it. Don't know if it was luck or skill, but it was alot of fun.

Me and Pauline fished Matagorda Bay this weekend. Pauline caught her largest trout, 26 1/2". We had a great trip. I caught this blk drum We caught 12 keeper trout, 2 keeper red fish, 1 blk drum and many undersized trout. awsome fish girls, did yall use cut bait or lures to catch the fishes?

well, being a guy that fishes the coast (freeport) about 4 to 5 times a year i went on a trip with my dad that lives in north carolina. we went on a guided trip out of calabasch S.C.we went out abuot 10 miles where we stopped to fish bait and i did this for about 45 mins. The seas were very rough about 6 to 8 ft.did this just fine but when the boat moved on to really fish i got sea sick and let me tell you it is not very fun. The funny thing is that me,my brother in law,and my son got sick i also had my 2 sisters on board they did fine. This is the first time i have ever been sea sick.so you chicks must be tough.

I love to go off shore. Went once on one of those party boats out of Port A about 40 miles out, my husband turned green and was laying in the bottom of the boat the whole trip. Noticed most of the people that were sick were the men.LOL I prefer fishing in the bay for trouts and reds though. Next time we go out, I want to try wade fishing. Our guide said that was the way to go. In East Matagorda Bay there are no sharks, but I did see alot of jelly fish.

I've never been on a boat so I don't know how good i'll do, but wadeing I don't know about that am terrifyed of going in the water like that, I'm scared of a shark or something biteing me thats scary! It can eat you alive -lol-

Actually the fish was caught in an evening tourney. It was caught right before the sun went down. But the picture was taken at weigh in which was 10:00pm.
