Sneaky Pete's was already booked, so we are having the party at the HARD 8 BBQ in Coppell.

We need raffle donations for the scholarship, so if you can contribute fishing or hunting stuff or guide trips, please let us know.

Beer, wine and frozen margaritas will be served at a cash bar. BBQ will be served off the pit. I ate there last week and it was delicious!

There are plenty of hotels in the area.

There are several right down the road and they all surround Bass Pro.

We will have the toy drive, and just like last year we will be selling the raffle tickets at the door. I would like as always for everyone to bring a toy and Mark Perry will take them to the firestation where he works to distribute. We will be doing a scholarship fund with the proceeds from the selling of raffle tickes for the great door prizes that we will have for this year. The hunting forum will be joining us for the first time, so I anticipate a fun time for sure.

Just wanted to add this ... Sharon Wilson and I both count the money at the end of the party to get a total on what was raised for the scholarship. If anyone wants to witness the final count, you are more then welcome.

If we end up with enough large prizes, we may also have a silent auction.

I'm trying to get the Lonestar Carp Brigade to do the "Star for a Day" program again. If I can get it together we'll be donating a stack of gift cards again. Anyone who knows single moms who's kids have never been fishing, this is a great chance at a bank fishing trip they will never forget. Send em my way.

Well, I hate to have to say this, I will not be in attendance to the TFF Christmas party again this year. Due to the distance it is from me & the price of diesel fuel, I cannot afford to go. I was planning on going until it was moved even farther away from me, I'd hafta rent a motel room & I just cannot do it! It would be nice if the powers that be would try to make it a little more centrally located for all of us that live down south, instead of just making it convenient for all of the memmbers close by in the metromess! Just an idea! Ya'll have fun & Remember that Jesus is the reason for the season!

That is the drawback to these sites, we have members all over the state and from other states as well.

Texas is just so big, that it will be difficult at best to plan any event that is in a convinient location for the majority of members. JMO.

If you can't make it to the party and would like to donate a toy for the toy drive we will be taking donations at Moritz Chevrolet on Saturday Nov. 24th. All toys will be delivered to the party the following Saturday Dec. 1st.

We are located at 1901 Camp Bowie West, Ft. Worth, Texas 76116

We will also have the Catch Tank from Texas Junior Anglers on Nov. 24th. It will be loaded with 1-6 pound catfish so bring the kids and a toy for a great time and a great cause.

The fishing is free and we will also have hot dogs and drinks.
