Texas land and Cattle Co. restaraunt row Austin Tx. the smoked serloin cut on the bias was fork tender ( no sauces needed )

Mangia Bene near Napa in California.
I like going to Trulucks here in DFW. The great thing about Dallas is that you can go to a great restaurant every night of the week and never eat at the same place twice.
I went to 3 Forks a little while back and ended up with food poisoning. I am sure it was the lobster bisque. The steak was good, but not the best I have had.

It's been a while since I ate there but Jaspers in Plano was VERY good. http://www.jaspers-restaurant.com/plano/A little more $$ than I'd usually spend for just a normal dinner but well worth an occaisonal treat. (Try the Blue Cheese Chips  ). PK

"The Pig" as it's known in Hickory Creek had the best stuffed baked potatoes. At least until the owners sold it. Been there a couple of times since but it's not the same.
