Thanks Curtis, Scoundrel, and Jamie for the replies.  Curtis: A Ugly Stick Combo designed for Bluegill will make the perfect Christmas Gift!  Jamie: Yes Sir, one of these days we will meet up. She picked up on casting and fighting fish pretty fast. If I can just get her to bait her on hook!  Side Note: I think she loves gardening much better than fishing!  What if you and your wife come to the house and I can show her how to fish with JIGLYF jigs and you never have to worry about baiting her hook. She can just re-tie another jig if she looses one.🤔🙂 I will take you up on that offer!
