Guys I just tried to watch this years AOY speech (Kyle welcher) for BASS. Not trying to be a jerk but very surprised on how bad the sound and production is. Very hard to watch. Looks like and sounded like a very low budget production. Maybe it’s because I watched it on YouTube. Not sure but it was bad. Just thought it would have been done better. Anyone else see it? Thoughts?

The stuff I’ve watched seems fine, if I had any complaint it would be how many times Mercer said “double guns bang bang” or whatever he said when they held two fish up

I think a few were grabbing a “decent”’fish from their live wells and expecting to hear “G G G GIANT BASS!” …..but, silence. roflmao

It's been a slow but consistent downward spiral since Bob Cobb left. Gen X'ers and Gen Zoomers are killin' the sport, I tell ya!

Sorry I was talking about the AOY speech by Kyle Welcher the banquet. Didn’t really like the layout and the production. The previous ones were alot different to the good. The sound the layout the speech the introduction just a little off this go around. Maybe it was the bar / restaurant they were at. I like to here the speeches from the anglers to hear the background and motivation

It's almost like they dont even try. BASS' die hard supporters are so entrenched in the B.A.S.S. legacy and dogma, they hardly bat an eye no matter what is rolled out- seems that this has even amplified since the mass exodus of 2018. I like watching any live bass fishing tournament available and im not going to complain either way, but the BASS production does leave a bit to be desired
