Was on the fence about buying a new rig and even had a very generous offer for mine from my fishing partner but decided to keep it and plan on retiring this year or next. Figured if I’m keeping it as my forever boat then time for an upgrade. In the last few months I replaced my Ultrex with a Quest Ultrex, replaced the LV32 transducer with a LV34, added a Mega 360, and replaced all 3 of my gen1 and 2 Helix units with new gen4’s and the new network box. She’ll hold me over for a while now.

I did the same thing but I added FFS, Raptors, new carpet, which is awesome, garmin trolling motor, and new seats. Looks and functions awesome!

Solid plan. I’ve been periodically updating mine since I got it in 1989.
Most recently, I had a new outboard installed (2019) and then replaced the livewell and bilge pumps.
Got new Lowrance finders and a new Terrova (2020).
Two years ago, new carpet and new trailer bunks.
Last year, livescope!
This year, new trailer axle.
I love my boat and haven’t seen a newer model yet that makes me consider retiring it.
