Friend Bruce and I fished with mutual friend Cliff (Cliffshot) at Tawakoni today to see if structure fishing has returned, and it has. In a scouting run we caught 133 fish: 2 legal and one short hybrid, one yellow bass, and the rest white bass. We caught them on 7 different structures on the east, west, and south sides of the lake in depths ranging from 18 fow to 33 fow with the best spot in 29 fow. We used BoBlades, Mepps #4, Panther Martin, slabs, and blade baits. Since it was a scouting run, we left biting fish several times to check out other structures. We fished from about 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Water temp was 59 degrees F.

Great report Dennis. That’s a crazy good day for a scouting trip. This weather has everything happening early this year. The fish went up the creeks early and now back out in the lake early.

We had a good day yesterday and hoping to have a good day today also.

how do you know the gender?

Shape and not full of eggs!

The males might skeet ya, keep it away from your face and out of your hair.
If your not getting skeeted, probably a female.
