Went to the Tokyo fish market and ate sushi at 6am. We were told that was when it was the freshest. We sat at a counter and the sushi chef held out his knife with the still beating heart of some fish he was cutting, I didn’t eat it, but one of the guys on the team did. I don’t eat beating hearts until after 5pm.

Anyone here try balut? How about durian? I have had 5 or 6 clients tell me durian is really tasty, but the smell is super strong and not pleasant. I don't think I could do it...and balut? NO!

fried calamari, thought it was onion rings (naples italy does not have onion rings I found out).
Fried calamari is some good stuff

When I was at WVU I knew a black dude that was ticketed for discharging a firearm. He told the LEOs that he was trying to shoot blackbirds to cook. He said growing up his mom cooked them often. I have heard crow meat is as dark as their feathers.
