Here is the difference, crappie get in a giant ball and just sit there. Sometimes for months in the same place. Easy to find and once you find them easy ish to catch. Bass are in little groups or solo, they swim all over the place, throw in carp, catfish, and drum which I have a real talent for catching it gets a whole bunch harder. Until you try it you will have no appreciation for the skill these guys have.

So you have to chase bass down? Interesting.

Clearly the amount of major tournament wins by relatively unknowns provides more than basic info.

Actually it doesn’t. Your entire premise is because you don’t know who they are then they can’t be good fisherman.

Why would old people's heads blow off? I'm 71 and it wouldn't bother me at all if he wins. I watch his videos and keep up with him all of the time even though his fishing style is totally opposite of mine.

Tommy you're an exception, you don't get so mad at new techniques and technology that you grunt so hard you sh** your whitie tighties like of the skidmark hater crew does.

Regardless if it's won shallow or with FFS it's the classic and one fisherman's life is gonna change Sunday afternoon. I personally hope it goes down shallow and a veteran that has never won it like Hackney wins. That would be awesome. However there are so many great fisherman in this thing and any of them could win. I really believe come Sunday morning the guy in 3-5 is going to make a decision to do something different and go bust a a big bag like Howell did on Guntersville or Evers did where they are now, that's what makes this tournament so great. But also a guy like Milliken could find a Mega school and get them all 3 days weigh in 75 lbs. plus and win by 8 or so lbs. Gonna be fun.

Today I can only find them chasing shad pushing them up on a flat off the deep.

I had Cooper Gallant in my Bassmaster Fantasy line-up. He works hard and reads new water really well. Prezekurat is also on my list. These conditions aren't a far stretch for the Northern anglers.
