Why not let all the Striper guides share a forum and let the regular striper fishermen enjoy the Striper forum without the guides clogging things up.

I think I know what you mean by this, and partially agree. Though I do appreciate the occasional posts from guides that fish Texoma, as that is the lake I frequent and so those posts are helpful. It always nice to get the occasional update from Chris at Striper Express thumb Notice I used the word “occasional” twice….

One guide in particular has 6 threads in this section ! One is sufficient IMO. wait till end of the week and combine . The powers to be, limit guides to one per week.IDK what is fair !

Good point , in fact when I see a particular guide post, I do not look and I know for sure a lot of other anglers do the same. It's the same ol thing , too much rhetoric !

Appears to me like a lot of cry from several who've contributed little since joining the TFF.

If you don't want to look at a guide's post, then don't click on it. I don't see guides posting regularly as an issue.

I like seeing the guide posts. I learn a lot from them. If I don’t want to read their posts, I don’t click on them.

I like their posts as well. Good info there if
you know where to look. If they get a little redundant l just don't open them.

This weekend warrior can't fish as much, so any helpful post is pleasing to me. Also even if i retired I can't be everywhere so knowing the pattern on other lakes keep me inform.

My 2 cents...

When you sum them up, the TWO golden rules of all major cultures and religions: Well being for self AND well being for all. Or simply inclusiveness.

Individualism is so highly praised and practiced in todays culture: my thought, my feeling, my idea, my philosophy, my religion, my race, my fishing guide, my state, my flag, my political color. Its all an illusion or your own psychological drama. If at this moment you and i disappear from the face of the earth, 99.9% of the population will not notice and just carry on. Everyone is preoccupied with his own drama. You and i are tiny specs and not that significant unless we impact or contribute to the wellness to our surroundings.

Also our fore fathers fought and died for our freedom. Freedom to post on TFF or not. Freedom to click on a post or skip to the next. Fredom to go to church or fishing on Sunday, freedom to promote growth or sufferings to others, etc etc. Please don't suffer this freedom and disappoint our ancestors. If you "have to click" or do something that you don't want, then it's called compulsive. Please go inward and work on that and don't force others to behave like that.

Click baits are plentiful out on the internet because those guys know how our minds work, where a click = $$.  I usually smile at them and skip over their silly intent. Lol.

I guess catching have been slow? Haha!  My boat is in the shop so no fishing for a while DOH.

Wellness and blessings to all!

breakdance

Thank you for sharing Todd!

I click on almost every post with the intent to learn something, even if they seem redundant. Of course I wish I could fish everyday. But since I can’t, might as well learn something!

We must be missing the message that people like Dennis Christian, Bob Maindelle, Chris Carey and John Varner are sending!

Don't get me wrong I really enjoy and read a lot of Bob Maindelle's experiences and the intense and helpful information that he and other guides bring to the forum. Since they seem to dominate the Striper Forum it sort of makes it theirs.
My point was having a forum for the normal Striper enthusiast would be nice.

There is nothing preventing any and all who want to post on the Stripper Forum from doing so.
