I am looking for a white/hybrid/striper guide who fishes Belton or Stillhouse Hollow. I am not interested in a catch and release guide as I like to eat some of the fish I catch.

I’m not sure all the options but I can’t imagine a more knowledgeable and professional guide than Bob maindelle. Why not go with him and learn then make another trip with what you learn and catch and cook some 🤷‍♂️

Yep. That is exactly what happened. Additionally the response made no sense whatsoever. Why should I pay for an extra trip to go fishing with one of his buddies. Guess I just can't handle those who can't read and try to change the narrative to fit their agenda.

If you Google Lake Belton fishing guides, you will find a whole list of guide services. You can pick the one that suits your needs.

No I am not out of line. Guy completely ignored my question. Guess I am going to have to go to google. I thought there might be some on this forum who could recommend a guide that met my request, but I guess I was wrong.

Yep. The herd mentality seems to be prevalent in most forums today.

Well put Whistlebritches, looks like any recommendation could end up bad.

Why don't the both of you just "whistlebritches" on down the road. Perfect examples of the clique - herd - clan mentality.

Strangely enough THF is having a rather long thread on this subject right now in the off topic section.
