Simple aftermarket mod that greatly reduces your chances of getting stranded with a flat on your trailer. Plus a few tips on what I carry to make flats less of an ordeal.

I think a magnet in front of the tires would prevent more flats. A tire pressure monitor doesn’t do anything at all to prevent a flat. It only notifies the driver that a tire is low….so does a side view mirror and an aware driver.

A cordless impact is a blessing.

My GayManCruiser came with a set of TPMS for a trailer. One of these days I may have them installed.

For sure doesn't prevent a flat, but in the case of hastily heading down the road without noticing a low tire or seeing that one is steadily going down/getting hot on a long trip, the monitor increases the chances you catch it before too late. Especially if your trailer has fiberglass fenders, blow a tire n it'll destroy the fender quickly too. Helpful, but not a fix-all for sure. How all the tires don't blow out on the seemingly 3' deep potholes on most interstates these days is beyond me!

And yeah, amen to the cordless impact drivers.

On that particular model, do those go in the rear of the tire?

Judging from his post, I'm guessing he likes it in the rear
