I eat at la taqueria(sp?) in arlington(on cooper) and cant wait til I go back every time. The food is so authentic that nobody speaks english(or so they say) in there, but I know what I want everytime I go so its greeeeat! The place has maybe 10 tables and they fel sticky all the time, lol cause they're too busy cooking I guess, lol. Even play spanish tv on the tube. The green hotsauce will blow your mind, and the food is about as cheaply priced as eating at mcdonalds now and days. The other one on pioneer(303) I wasnt impressed with.

O but i do know bout Henry's-- used to work there when it had a club on the back of it called the scotland club-- Henry would bring in some class acts as far as hispanic music--- got to meet Salina when she was young-- i think she was bout 16 then & a little bit on the chubby side-- Also Ruben Ramos OOOO My at the fun that was had at Henry's diner/ Scotland club

The food is Tex-mex & big portions & resonably priced

I'm sure i clogged a few a arteries there

Class act The Hogeda's(Henry's family)

Henry is a prime example of the success a person can have from hard work & dedication--- He was a cook for the Zentner's for years before he broke out on his own

CUddo's to you Canepone--- you from San angelo ?? Born & raised there myself but i got to Austin ASAP !!!

In Alice Texas, the main road that runs through there I beleive is 285, there is a place on the right as your heading north, I dont remeber the name but you can miss it considering there will be 20-30 vehicles parked there all day. I think that is by far the best place I have ever eaten Tex-MEx

In Alice, Texas you want to eat at NorTex Bakery for good breakfast taco's, hot sauce, and Mexican Bakery goods. That place is awesome.

In Dallas, Harrera's off Maple/Wycliff is hard to beat for "real" Mexican food. They also have a pretty good mexican breakfast.

MiCosina's in DFW have pretty damn good Fajita Nacho's and I haven't had any better.

El Metate on Northside of Fort Worth has great gordita's, but their barbacoa can't be beat. Some of the best I've ever had.

Benito's off Magnolia is great for a sit down meal.

Is that the "Mexican Bakery" on the west side just north of Seminary?

When I work day shift, we send someone there just about every morning for burritos. Yum!

Ah 2B, my favorite Mexican plate anywhere, double beans with extra cheese. I think the taco is the best anywhere.

I eat at Herreras every time I'm in Dallas. At at the one in Oak Cliff a few weeks ago on the way to Fork and it was as great as ever.

I went to college in San Angelo in the early '90s and I have never found a town that has so many great places to eat for many different kinds of food. When I had the money I would go to Henry's, it was wonderful. There is also a place next to the feed store Chadbourne (sp?) I can't remember the name but is has wonderful migas. I still go there deer hunting and eat my brains out. Thanks for making my mouth water for san angelo food.

The guy that walked in behind me ordered the fajita burrito. He was saying how good they are. Will have to try that one next time...

Awsome Carne Asada. They have 4 or 5 locations I believe, one in Weatherford. You can google them for the website, but that's some crazy good Mexican food. Excellent service as well!
