Way to go Melissa, great looking LM. Looks like Matthew can't wait to get his hands on one.LOL Actually, Matt did get his hands on one. He caught this one the same day as Melissa on a different tank. He did it all by himself using a white curly tail roadrunner and an ultralight spinning rod. I hope it's ok to post the pic on this thread. Please excuse my ugly mug in the photo. Thanks.

Thanks gals and guys. Ya'll have some pretty impressive fish yourselves. I know those stripers put up one heck of a fight when you get them on. I use to fish for those all the time in Amistad as a kid... Did it at least give you big fish???
Second place. First place went to a guy from our club who had not 1, but 2 8lbrs that day. Good thing for me that he could only claim one on big bass scales which gave me second place big bass check.

Ladies, I just wanted to show off my wifes bass that she caught a few weeks ago. We were on vacation out west near Post, TX. The fish was caught on a 1/8oz white curly tailed road runner. We took some pics and released it to fight another day. She was fishing in a private lake. Here is Melissa, my wife, and my youngest son Matthew. whats the gun for?

I actually caught it with a night crawler. I was using a lure with no luck and decided to go back to catching bluegills. this one was sneaky. I was using night crawlers with a bobber.

Thank you SS. I caught all of them and lots more with Jackie Kennedy, all since Sept. 30 of last year. He's the best. Thanks to him, I have three state records and two lake records, and three of five Big Fish working towards the freshwater TPWD Elite Angler status. And I hope to break the Cedar Creek Lake and possibly State blue cat catch and release record this winter.

Great Janice, I'm very proud for you. That must be a great honor to hold the records you have. Those are some mighty BIG CATS you caught. I'll bet they put one fine fight. I've always wanted to catch some big cats on rod and reels. Thanks for sharing with us.

Always put the sun at your back when you taking pictures . Have there head up to get the light. Hold the fish away from your body to make it look bigger. Get all the person in the frame. Take a few and look at them and your get the picture. its a lot of work but the little extra pays off.
