I'm with ya Sharonwilson01!! While I like the female representation on TFF, we are the majority FOR NOW! LOL!!! And honestly I find that most of the forums on TFF are not just for men only. IT's everyone giving their opinion and thoughts. But then I am sure every group has that one guy that will be a smart [censored] when a woman replies. Just keep on keepin on ladies!

I hear you RedTopLady. I peruse many of the regular fishing forums on a daily basis. I check here once every month or two.

Growing up in the 50's and 60's I never felt like fishing or hunting was just for men. My dad took his daughters with him just like we were his sons. I love to see mom's and dad's here teaching their daughters to fish just like the boys. You can do it and still be 100% feminine.

I have a thought. The ladies contribute to all the other forums, right? So if we had some kind of way to show how much we contribute, maybe they would see that we deserve a good spot for all our input. Someway to mark that we are women and we do ALSO contribute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alright ladies, I am new to this forum (also ptbf, proud to be female) If you will check out the end of (catfish sting) I feel insulted and I replied. Back me up ladies. We are tougher than any man think we are . Actually , I think putting ptbf at the end of our replies would be a good way to keep up with our input. I only wanted to be part of the forum, not be insulted by the men. What do you think?

I am certainly not a lady angler but I try to be as close to one as I can be. I am big (huge) supporter of the WBT and am supporting four of the girls on the circuit now. I know most of the WBT ladies and love that circuit to pieces. I offer discounts to all WBT anglers whether I know them or not and a lot of you already know George. Senko62 is a dear friend of mine as well. Go WBT and any other woman who wants to fish. I know Debra Hengst is a member here cause she sends me posts all the time.

I feel you there sister, some tuff guy called me a B%$&H (on a PM)and said something about a tampon, don't really care about that because i know that that was his desperate attemp to ge at me, it made me feel good that i made a dude break like that. Oh and i am PTBF!!

I'm working on trying to get the feminine products to sponsor my ladies....they seem natural to me. I think a lot of potential sponsors are missing the boat by overlooking the market but won't quit making the point. Fish on ladies. Red River in Sept.

I realize that there are those on the forum who would make off color cracks etc. to you ladies--don't let that deter you from becoming a large reason of thought and posts here. We need your input.

We are used to being the hunter and the fisher, and sometimes take all of you for granted--I think its time you put that myth to bed and start letting us know that you guys are out their and you know how to fish.

I know I was fishing an open team tourney not to long ago, and there were 2 boats that were woman who competed and 3 ladies fishing with their husbands/boyfriends. The two boat full of ladies did not do so bad, and finished better that a few of the good sticks that were competing.

So get involved and take some of these guys to school !!

I'm here too, but have to fight my husband for computer time. He's a computer hawg!

Yeah, I'm around here, too. I do most of my posting on the Rough Fish/Carp section. I wasn't into angling until I met those guys. Talk about one welcoming group of people. They never treat me different, which I love. Growing up with 3 brothers, I hated being treated "special" because I was a girl. Forget that!

Now, I work with woman carpers all over the country. It's awesome to see the women out catch the men, no matter what you're fishing for!

Of course, I work in a field where there's a lot of men, too. There aren't many women that work with fish on a daily basis like I do. I know more about fish than a lot of men!

Ladies if any of yall have a problem with the men on this site including myself,please send me a PM and i will take care of those folks that get a little unreasonable and are out of line ok.

Count me in too. Hi..... If we got moved to another area, where would you like to see the "Lady Angler" section? I think instead of just saying we have the basement, ask to be moved to another area.....but where? If we all agree, then unite, we'd have a much better chance of getting results. We need to stop complaining and ask for what we want. Any ideas?

Well I am a female angler as well. So I guess I better put my name in the hat. I don't know if it will get this forum moved up or not. I have taught both my daughter and son how to fish. Heck I am still learning how myself......hehehe. My daughter is almost 17. She really doesn't want to fish much anymore. She would rather be on My Space or the phone with her friends. My son is a little younger than her. He will go fishing most of the time with his mom. :-)

I spend most of my time in the OT but I'm here alright...
