I want to preface this quick report by saying im not the best fisherman by any means and i dont get a whole lot of time on the water but i know to fish my strengths. Went to squaw friday the 9th for about 4hrs of fishing (had to leave out of town that afternoon) and it was more a day of catching not fishing. If you have kids you want to take out fishing, or anyone else who isnt the most confident i highly suggest squaw right now. We caught 30 in about 3hrs of fishing up to 3.5lbs (we did some looking around and left biting fish to try and find more fish and do some graphing out deep) We caught almost all our fish on plastics (as said in previous squaw posts any color containing green worked), we also beat the bank because the wind was blowing pretty good so it isnt like we had to actually go out and find fish.

TL;DR If you wanna have an easy day catching fish, go to squaw and beat the bank with plastics.

I know the feeling, i finally just made time and went. Its a pretty decent haul from where my boat is at, but it was worth it.

Were you beating the bank back up in the creek itself? Where it forks in two directions with the timber?
