Regarding the custom insoles, how much do they cost and how well do they hold up?
I'm not a runner - more looking for options for dress shoes and boots. I've never found an off the shelf insole that would last more than a few weeks before disintegrating.

There is no perfect women.
Get 10 in front of you, try them all on, and you find each has something a bit different that you want.
If you are lucky, "1" will have "8."
Regarding shoes? Actually, there is no way to know if any shoe is the right shoe until "after" it's been used for "said purpose."
Perfect in the store could leave blisters on the heels. We just don't know what will come out of that woman's mouth once you've chosen her. Just give it a week!
