What is going on at Toledo? Can't seem to catch any fish or even get bites! Fished from 6"- 10ft. of water using various baits but still no fish! I'm frusted! Any ideas?
fished 3 days fri-sun and its super tuff.
friday we covered water from gaucho to the dam caught several on docks and had some blow ups shallow around pondweed and milfoil. found hydrilla in six and decided to fish there sat.
saturday fished hydrilla early didnt get a bite. started fishing 'around' docks and shallow cover with moving baits and put together a small limit. had one good bite about 7lbs but she didnt want to take a ride, spit the bait when she jumped 3' out of the water. it was a grind, we culled once and had maybe 10 bites all day.
sunday spent the day in la from cypress bend to pirates cove. fished windy docks, had 3 bites, biggest around 4 lbs. super super tough.
i dont think too many guys are really catching a lot of fish. when we were driving back over to tx, we saw a guy catch a 3lber on a rig in carrice, so maybe there is a dragging bite to be had.
