I have my inlaws coming next weekend and would like to take them fishing if I can find somewhere to get into safely. I’ve been looking online at lake levels and Limestone looks like the only one that didn’t flood or have to let out lots of water to maintain current levels. Does anyone know about the white bass fishing there?

Cedar Creek and Richland Chamber aren’t flooded according to Army Corps website but appear to be letting out lots of water just to maintain current levels so I would assume lots of debris and mud in those lakes. If I am wrong please let me know.

Any help would be appreciated.

Richland Chambers is fishable with the Water Level about one foot high, Spillway Gates Open and letting about 20,000 CFS of water out, and Main Lake Clarity is slightly stained. As you move up the Lake and into the Creek Channels the water goes from stained to muddy. I'm guessing we'll have water being released for the next month as Creeks are full and the Lakes that feed RC are 10'-15' feet above their Pool Level. Water temp is in the high 60's. We fished Saturday and probably caught well over 200 fish but only about 75 Keepers for two boats. Lots of small Sandies and Hybrids with even the Keepers being 10"-12" fish. Fish are moving fast and you'll need to use your Electronics as they are tight to structure and on the bottom in most cases. Adam & I have Weekday Openings in October & November if anyone wants to fish RC. Here's a couple of Pics from Saturday.

Thank y’all for the good information. Do you have any recommendations for boat ramps on the west side mid lake?

There's only three Marinas on the entire Lake with boat ramps....Oak Cove on Hwy 287, Fisherman's Point on FM 416 and Sunset Cove off FM 2859.
