I watch the show every so often and the sue woman is a tough cookie. Makes me wonder who’s tough enough on here to make a honest woman out of her?

I seriously doubt the authenticity of some of what you see on that show

There’s been any number of online articles revealing that the primitive conditions depicted in the show aren’t that primitive at all

Sue lives in a large compound that offers guest accommodations, Wi-Fi, guided tours and sells branded clothing items

A lot of the trials and tribulations portrayed in the show are staged because it makes good television

Make an honest woman out of her? I don't know what you mean.

Is she the one that runs the airport?
The picture I get is that she is mostly alone during the winter months.
Doesn't have any help. That's one tough lady. Probably doesn't have any use for the namby pambies that live in Texas.

I only watch it sometimes so i may not get the whole picture.

Always wondered bout this show. Some of the stuff they use on it isn’t heap so they surely have real jobs elsewhere or it’s a hidden gold mine??

Of what is that tent in which she lives made? Looks like some kind of refletix material.

She has all those trailers...they are off the ground and have metal sides.. seems to me those could be insulated (probably already are) and make decent living quarters.

I like the show. It has inspired a lot of what I do on my YouTube Channel. It is National Geographic after all. I don't have TV, but watching on Thanksgiving when I'm down at mom's.

However, I like to document what happens. What you see is what happened, not doctored or staged. That's the difference between YouTube and TV. The products I sell are what you see me testing and using on the YouTube Channel.

You can build a business like this. With YouTube, iTunes and a blog you have your own TV station, radio station, magazine and shop.

You have to be transparent, though. No staging stuff to make it look good. If I fish and don't catch anything with the new lure I'm designing, then show it. Be open and honest with people. People can see fake from 100 miles away. They expect stuff on TV to be fake, staged and dishonest to some degree. What you see is what you get is what makes YouTube so viable today.

They show you what they want you to see.
