We watched a huge Buck swimming in the lake just off Hickey Island on Richland Chambers. Shocked us so bad, we thought he was in trouble. We followed him a safe distance behind thinking he might get tired and need some kind of rescue. Nope! He swam across the lake to the shore, hit the bank running and trotted across a grassy area and never looked back. They truly are very strong swimmers!

Practicing for the TTO I saw a doe do the same thing. I never saw what was chasing her but I could hear it in the brush. They are much faster in the water than I would have guessed.

Wide and some mass but not a lot of tine length. Older deer that is fair for that area but not a giant.

A couple that came off Hagerman.

Good looking Red River bucks. Theyre huge around the river.
