Sox r by far the better team as I watch more and more. Record reflects this as well but thought defending champs had a shot.

Man the Astros left a lot of men on base and in scoring position the last 3 innings. Tough way to lose. Hell on the fans.

It was a tough call but not the play that lost the game. The catch by Benintendi was amazing in that situation. He misses that ball and Astros win the game.

Man tough lose I feel for you Stros fans....NOT!

LA handled their business. Up 3-2 in the series. I am sure the Stros will enjoy watching the Dodgers vs. Red Sox from their couches.

So if the fan interfered with a live ball, why was he not escorted out of the building? Why was he allowed to stay there?

Everything on your bass boat is broken......You just don't know it yet.

Can't answer that question, he should have been ejected. But it WAS fan interference and the correct call.

Joe West (the umpire) said the fan reached into the field of play. Thats the rule, not interfering with a live ball. Its debatable if the fan interfered, because there isnt a clear picture or video of the fans reaching over the wall. Probably not enough to kick someone out of a playoff game.

Quote:
Further, Rule 6.01(e) states: No interference shall be allowed when a fielder reaches over a fence, railing, rope or into a stand to catch a ball. He does so at his own risk. However, should a spectator reach out on the playing field side of such fence, railing or rope, and plainly prevent the fielder from catching the ball, then the batsman should be called out for the spectator's interference.
