it fished shallow a month ago. We are a 3 fish limit and had 12 lbs. Now that was also a month ago..Green pumpkin

I also find it to be a difficult lake to fish. It seems to fish better in colder weather.

It's tough right now with the water level going up and down daily. We were at full pool Tuesday and within 24hrs almost a 1ft low. With more rain on the way this weekend, probably more of the same, with up and down water levels. You can still catch some shallow on steeper banks and offshore structure too, but Squaw Creek is only 15mins from Lake Granbury and you have a good chance of catching a bunch right now with not many people on the lake...yet smile

Go to Squaw Creek , water is up and down , lots of trash in flowing water .
