are the new elite ti units out with "active imaging"? if so, has anyone used it? does it use a different transducer?

The new Ti2 will work with a Active imaging transducer. Yes you need a specific transducer

I am showing ETA date @ shut-up-and-fish to be 11/07/18. It could be earlier...

Will the 2in1 transducer be available then?

Also is there a update coming for the Carbon units for the Active image transducers and if so when will it be out?
Will they work without the update.

i've already got 2 transducers on the back of my boat; will the new "active imaging transducer" take the place of the 2d sonar or the down/side imaging? will the "3 in 1" take the place of the other 2?


what will "active imaging" give us that is better than the chirp 2d or the down/side imaging?
