This was a tournament for the ages. Lake Fork produced some awesome catches both days. Plenty of 2lb+ fish hit the scales.
The overall results are beyond impressive. And today's weather played havoc with the teams that toughed it out.

DIV I winners were Cody Standerfer and David Gibby with a 2 day total of 27.64 lbs. That's 14 crappie that averaged 1.97 lbs.

DIV II winners were Brandon Miles and Steve Goncalves with a 2 day total of 24.3 lbs.

There were 43 crappie at 2 or more lbs weighed in.
Cody and David had big fish of the tournament with a whopper at 2.67lbs.

There were 24 teams in both Divisions that weighed in two day stringers over 20 lbs.

With the recent rains and cooler water temps the fish were on the move and hungry. Some people had found good fish pre-fishing, but some of those fish moved due to the weather changes. Fish were caught from 7ft to 25 FOW on all types of jigs and minnows.
There was no discernible pattern except keep your head down and fish hard.

Thanks Ken, great report. Doesn't look like the weather was a factor.
That's a lot of big'uns. hooked

Man that was fun even through all the wind and rain! I haven't had 2 days like that on Fork probably ever. Great time to get lucky! We were throwing fish back Sat at 930 so we wouldn't go over 50 fish! Funny to flip a 1.5 in the boat and toss em right back in the lake knowing they wouldn't help you any! I gotta get back there before it gets too cold!! fish

Tboxfish and I caught a quadrillion crappie and not one of them was 2# or better! We were so far behind after day one that we needed 7 3# fish to compete! We had a blast though, and someone has to keep the little ones away from the rest of the field! roflmao
