So I’ve recently become aware that fury 4 props have been slinging blades due to possible casting problems and I’m interested in selling the two fury 4 props I have and getting something that won’t let me down when it counts... I’m basically prop stupid and would greatly appreciate some recommendations of a quality SS prop... I’ve got a 2017 521c with pro XS 250 2 stroke..

Either a 24 or 25 pitch Fury 3 blade should do the trick.

Wouldn't that be a factory return if there is a known issue?

I'd be calling them on that. Or whoever you bought the boat from.

If it’s not broke, then don’t fix it. Or in this case, don’t sell it. The Fury 4 is the best prop out there for your boat. I have the same boat and have had the Fury 4 since it first came out. No problems whatsoever. Keep a spare prop in your boat which is a good idea regardless of the prop you have on. Mercury should replace it if you indeed ever have a problem.

I’ve gotten the boat dialed to this 24p and have a fury 4 25p that I bought originallly and just was gutless on hole shot so we kept it for spare... I really don’t want to change props because it’s so good I can’t imagine getting it any better.

Same boat & motor for me has a decent hole shot & will cross 70mph(Ranger fast!) with a three blade 25p Fury.

From what I have read on BBC if a Fury 4 is going to sling a blade it is going to do it almost immediately. If you have run it for any length of time, from what I understand then it should be good to go.
