 Grandpa Needs a Hobby

This thread will be like a social worker/charity thread to help Grandpa's state of mind. We all know he spends a lot of time in his camper and probably goes stir crazy often. I think he should take up early morning drinking by starting his days with a bottle of Jack. However, this may not be the best idea for his current situation. So I think we need to throw out some ideas of simple inexpensive hobbies that Grandpa could participate in to help keep him occupied. I told him a long time ago to get a modern slingshot and have fun with that, but he shot my idea down (no pun intended).
So guys any simple hobbies you think Grandpa could enjoy? Here is another idea...get a cheap 10 gallon fish tank and make a small native tank with critters you can catch at a local ditch or creek.

Art based hobbies? Whittling is cheap, takes time to master, and all you need is a stick and a sharp knife. You can turn out some beautiful things. Then there's the fiber arts, painting, etc.
It doesn't matter how old you are, you can learn if you choose.

When I have downtime I like to do puzzle books. Crosswords, soduko, multi puzzle books. Keeps my mind occupied and brain sharp.
