Looks like I get to fish Belton....any help?
Looks like a deep, clear, rocky lake with little structure. Any guidance would be appreciated to get us started.

There are no fish in Belton. You guys can just stay home.

Really, I've only been a few times, but always done well on the usual things that work everywhere else. The Cowhouse arm is a little less clear. Top-water early, crank baits and spinner baits all day.

only been there one time, for 4 days. catching fish was not a problem, catching keepers was.
caught a ton of fish throwing a shaky head on points or senkos in the bushes.

First time up there in August..

Bass were tough, but most the ones we caught were on texas rig.

White bass though, were crazy.. Couldn't keep them off the hook. I don't know if they are still running, but have a rod rigged up with a little beetle spin if you see them schooling.

Have fun

Fished Fishing for Freedom Saturday, 250 boats.
Some pretty good fish caught.
From what I heard at the weigh in, it was basically lure dujure.
Crank baits, spinner baits, plastics etc.
Some shallow, but most in 15-25 foot of water.

Agree with earlier post, you can catch a lot of small ones, but keeper are a little more rare.
