I fished four days last week and Adam fished a couple and we managed a fair to good box of fish on every trip. This time of year we may be fishing for Whites, Crappie or Catfish and on Monday and Tuesday, the Crappie were the target. On all the other trips we fished for White Bass and Hybrid Stripers. The White Bass were all caught on RSR Slabs and Jig Teasers in water depths of 15'-25' FOW. The fish are not staying in an area very long and you do a lot of hunting for them, catching a few at a number of spots and then they move off. There's been little to no Top Water action most days. Best areas are the well know locations...Pelican Island, Longarm Branch, 309 Flats, etc. Water temperature has been in the high 70's and clarity is excellent.
