I'd rather have less mileage from a Ford then decent mileage in a dodge and waits for the dash and everything else fall apart. Dodge- great motor, rest is junk. Obviously you have not been in one lately. One of them a couple years ago was enough for me, never again.

Funny these threads always get to dodge vs Ford. Funny thing is the dodge die hards just cant let go most of the time. Ford did emissions first cost them a bunch of money. Every other brand waited to last minute. Look at it now. Ford has figured it out. And now everyone is trying to figure it out. They will never get good mpg with urea or emissions on them. They will get another mile or 2 soon now that the 8 and 10 speed trannys are coming. I know 3 guys with dodge right now as I type they are making payments and all 3 are sitting In dodge getting tranny work. All of them have wanted to switch. None will cause fords cost more. But everyone in dodge oh but you have to take the cab off to work on it. So! It takes them 45 minutes to get it off and 45 back on. Can design is sweet. Why you think ford dont need a mega cab. All fords have room. I use to work at dodge plant on mound and 8 mile in Detroit. Parked my ford in parking lot everyday. I had 2 dodges never got one again even with my discount being more.

Dodge makes a good diesel truck. Their weak link is the tranny. Has always been an issue with them.
I do like the ram trucks, they are not your daddys dodge.....but neither again the new fords are not your daddys fords either

I dont know why anyone would ever consider buying a gas 3/4 ton. Diesel is 40 cents more a gallon. Because some of us use a 3/4 ton for towing or hauling heavy loads, but don't necessarily put enough miles on our trucks to justify the extra upfront cost of a diesel, nor the higher cost of maintenance. Yes, diesels have higher long-term resale/trade value, and get better mileage. But that only helps if you get your money's worth in the use of the truck. F150 = Boys truck / F250 = Mans truck

F150 = Boys truck / F250 = Mans truck might be but why pay more for something you don't need. Take one of those heavy diesels out in the deep mud and just asking for trouble. Tundra with 5.7 gasser has all the pulling power that I need.

Toyota makes a great truck and yes a diesel sucks in Any kind of mud But a Tundra isnt gonna pull a 28 travel trailer down the highway at 80 with a ATV in the bed and 3 of your buddies riding with you
