 Ultrex problem

So just installed an Ultrex and it will not lock into place when extended I to water. The locking bar does not move far enough to lock so when I engage the motor it rides up. Any thoughts thow to fix it?

Your mount may be twisted due to an uneven deck. Loosen each of the two front mount screws individually to see if that will allow the latch to engage. If it does, put a shim (washer, etc) under the mount on the screw that is causing the twist.

Thanks I will look into that and see.i replaced an older model Minn Koda Maxxum. Same size shaft and used same holes.

I was able to swing by All Star Marine in Lewisville. They were able to figure out that there was a piece that was flipped the wrong way when I did the install. It took them about 15 seconds to find it. Great folks over there. Can't say enough nice things about them.
