I'm a few weeks late posting this but better late than never I suppose. I was fishing Lake Ray Hubbard and set the hook after a very subtle bump when my rod doubled over and this monster started casually swimming off, pulling drag like it was nothing. Every other time this has happened, it was a big flathead- so I wasn't too excited until her head came up and broke the surface. I took her to the Bass Pro Shops on the lake to get her certified weight and she was 12.05lbs! What a day! *edit* pics loaded backwards- first pic is her release at the ramp, last one was taken right after catching her.

What a great fish. I am sure she has been a long time coming. Congrads. on a super fish. Thanks for sharing any other specifics; so we know what bait you were able to fool her on and maybe the depth. What was the weather conditions that day like?

What was the weather conditions that day like? She hit a finesse worm on a shakey head in about 16ft-18ft at 8:30am. Clear skies and warm- water temp about 82-84 I think.
