had to call my 8 yr old son and tell him that im am no longer going to be living at home. breaks my heart to hear him cry. its suck when things arent working out in marriage and the ones who get hurt the most are your kids.

Sorry you had to do that. But shouldn't that have been an in person kinda talk? Face to face can be more brutal and emotional stress on the child. It can be best to do it over phone, then give it some time and discuss again in person. Different strokes for different folks. Mom & Dad will know what's best. I can't imagine that discussion, but prayers for you both.

Everyone pays in these situations.
I've never been divorced. But have gone through 3 with my 2 sons. rough on kids, grandparents, and the two splitting up.
