Fixing to pull the trigger on one. Curious as to what kind of gas mileage between 6.2gas and 6.7 diesel people are getting Not pulling much other than a Skeeter, but looks like Diesels hold the value. For those that have those years what's your thought.

Why would you spend that much money on a truck just to pull a boat? That seems like a huge waste of money.

I've had the 17&18 and now in a 19 and they all got 16 on the highway, just got back from Amisatd and it got 12.5 running 78 pulling a triton 22trx. Get the deisel, hold the value better.

Gas truck here. Mileage around 11-13 city, and can get 17-20 on the highway if there's not too much stop and go.

Towing is single digits. But it's a stump-puller!!

15-16 up hill down hill towing or not. Thats what you get with Ford Diesel minus the routine cab removal to repair a $100 part.

I knew the first 6.0's needed to remove the cab to do some common engine repairs but I did not know they still had this.
I remember when the first version had a serious injector problem that filled the engine with fuel that they had to replace injectors. This required the cab to be removed. I saw a picture of a Ford dealership with numerous new trucks lined up for injector replacement and they all had their cabs removed. They had to have the cabs removed to do a simple valve adjustment since the engines were not accessible from the engine bay.

I can replace all the injectors and do a valve adjustment in an hour and half with my Cummins. The Ford and Chevy engine bays are much tighter and harder to work on. For diesel engines.

18 6.7 here, almost 5k miles. All hand calculated. I actually get better in the city than highway. 18.6 city/18.1 hwy.15.7 towing TRX18 w/200 opti (not sure of weight), 10.2 towing 35 camper (9200lb)

I absolutely love this truck....but I also loved my 04 6.0 that apparently was the only one Im history that didnt grenade as soon as I drove it off the lot

My 2017 6.7 averages 17-18 on the highway, and about 16 just running around. It will drop to 11-13 pulling a 12,000 to 17,000 LB trailer. Im not sure what it gets with a boat, I always end up using my other truck for trips to the lake. This 2017 is the most comfortable best riding 3/4 ton pickup I have had to this date.
